A Witchy Cat Autumn Bicycle Ride

This little witch cat took a morning bicycle ride to pick up a nice hot latte along with a pumpkin to carve for Halloween!

Today we went out to the store and found pumpkins were already out! Naturally, we bought one. Just one to start. Still waiting on our own harvest of pumpkins in the backyard. =) I’ve got a whole “harvest” of handmade Halloween ornaments, ready to get the season started! My handmade ornaments are all available in my shop.

64 Days until Halloween!

Can you believe it? It’s almost that time again and I’m so excited! Of course I’m panicking as well, trying to remember where I’ve scribbled down ideas for the children’s costumes. My son is 13 and if I remember correctly, last year I bribed him into letting this year be the last year I get to choose what he will be. =D That being said, it’s also ornament time! I’m working on a couple of new Halloween cat ornaments this year that I hope to have ready to debut in the next few days (along with Volvo 244 ones.) Halloween!

This is our third year celebrating Halloween in PA, and it’s going to be the rainiest one yet. I’m glad we’re not painting our faces this year! I took some photos of the Halloween-ness around the house. A couple of them I tried to HDR but I really don’t play with Photomatix enough to realize what I’m supposed to be doing. It’s just random moving sliders here and there. I took 6 pictures of the living room at different exposures and still ended up blurry on one side. I was using a tripod and a remote shutter, so not sure what went wrong there. Oh well, still shows the room!

Here’s a little pumpkin house we found the other day. I love this house so much! It’s in some tiny rural town, who’s name totally escapes me right now. Oh, wait I think it was Fertigs, PA!
