Is it Memorial Day weekend yet? I’ve been waiting to start planting, and here in NW PA we’ve been told for the past 6 (or is it 7?) years that we’ve lived here, “Don’t plant before Memorial Day!” Why? Because frost. No kidding, it snowed just a few days ago. Ridiculous.

Thankfully, these cats didn’t have to wait, their plants were already potted, or being potted! I was going to start planting in the ground yesterday, but it poured all day. I’m thinking this might have been a sign. “Remember…Memorial Day…”

Oh silly cats! No matter how beautiful and fluffy our beds are, they really would rather have a plain old cardboard box. This family loved their simple box!

Merlin really loves boxes, and is usually the first one in the house to get inside a box.
