Every year I paint in this series, the Spooky Woods, cats dressed in costume. They’re all making their way to a Halloween party. =D

On their way to the Halloween party!
Ornaments for Halloween-or any day! I’m trying to think up another costumed kitty that would go with the others, but I’m drawing blanks. Any suggestions are appreciated!
The Corner Shoppe on Halloween
Happy Halloween!
My cats wanted nothing to do with Halloween this year. Thankfully, the kids and my Mom were still game. Although Tiarnan escaped my makeup chair this year because my Mom bought him a creepy clown mask. So I had to deal with two clowns this year-doing my mom’s makeup as Twisty from AHS, and my son’s mask. Do.not.like.clowns.
Anna was easy, she wanted to be a cat. So I talked her into letting me make her into a skeleton cat like from my paintings. When last minute I realized I didn’t have any green eyeshadow, (I mean really, why would I?) I resorted to just making the normal golden eyes that I give my skellie cats!

Oh these lucky cats! Instead of having to walk all the way through the spooky forest, Skellie cat stopped by and picked them up! They’re getting a ride to the Halloween party in style!
Halloween Ornaments!
Today we went out to the store and found pumpkins were already out! Naturally, we bought one. Just one to start. Still waiting on our own harvest of pumpkins in the backyard. =) I’ve got a whole “harvest” of handmade Halloween ornaments, ready to get the season started! My handmade ornaments are all available in my shop.

They were the first to arrive at the party. Hopefully the other showed up soon so the party could get started!
64 Days until Halloween!
Can you believe it? It’s almost that time again and I’m so excited! Of course I’m panicking as well, trying to remember where I’ve scribbled down ideas for the children’s costumes. My son is 13 and if I remember correctly, last year I bribed him into letting this year be the last year I get to choose what he will be. =D That being said, it’s also ornament time! I’m working on a couple of new Halloween cat ornaments this year that I hope to have ready to debut in the next few days (along with Volvo 244 ones.) Here’s the collection of Halloween cat ornaments available now!
