I’ve taken quite a few pictures of my son’s Star Wars figures over the years, and maybe painted a Darth kitty or two. But my favorite photo set is of Minnie burning on the pyre after the news of Disney buying Lucas Film.

I shot this last year, before Disney bought Lucas Arts and went on a rampage to get fan art removed from websites. After that I vowed never to photograph these figures again…unless my son agreed to let me set them on fire and photograph that. We haven’t gotten to that point, yet.
