I wanted to make the Christmas seasons’ bicycle paintings a bit more “magical” this year, so I added a lot of glitter for sparkle! The photos don’t do the glitter justice-it sparkles so lovely. There is even glitter in the trees and snow! The red/white striped kitty is still available in my Zibbet store! I will be painting more of these bicycles with different kitties throughout the month. Leave me a message here if you would like to see a certain cat/bicycle color combination!

This pretty kitty happened upon a bicycle leaning against a wall. Its owner had packed baskets full of flowers for planting. Maybe they needed a kitty’s help?
Painted on Arches Watercolour, cold pressed, 300g/m2 140lb, 100% pure cotton, acid-free paper.
Size 9″ x 12″ – sprayed with a matte varnish.

How very exciting! Butternut picked the two most purrfect pumpkins for carving. He couldn’t wait to get them home!
There’s nothing like a bicycle ride with a friend! The cat and the panda bear enjoying a ride through the bamboo forest.
Spring is definitely on it’s way in! Today was glorious with blue skies and ample sun. It was still a bit cold, but not eyeball-freezingly-cold. I’m excited for spring! We’ve got two flats of seedlings germinating inside, two ducklings growing in the basement, and a brood of hens ready for sunshine and warmth. Not to mention, I’ve got two children eagerly awaiting riding their Christmas bicycles! My son has been wanting to participate in having his photo taken, and I admittedly have been having a hard time of thinking of “boyish” things, not that he needs to be “boyish” per se, but I thought, “Hey, what about we take some photos with your red bike?!” He seemed up for the idea. We decided on shooting in front of the wasting-away Art Deco Drake Theater (it’s for sale if anyone wants to buy it…almost a whole city block…)
He particularly liked the fallout shelter sign, no surprise since he likes the game Fallout.
