I have to admit, I remembered the day because of the in-game calendar in World of Warcraft…so… Here’s a pirate kitty! He’s making his way down the spooky forest to this year’s annual Halloween party!

Making his way to the Halloween party, this little pirate didn’t seem the least bit scared walking through the spooky forest!

Initially when I had thought of this idea, it became a painting and actually not scary at all. I think the girl in my story ended up on bed with two kittens laying on either side of her. The book, Moby Dick. But this is what I had in mind from the beginning. Weird thing, I like spooky stuff but I’m apparently only able to paint cute things. What can you do? Not that these pictures are scary by any stretch of the imagination, I mean there’s kittens for crying out loud! =P But Dante’s Inferno just adds a bit of darkness. For the record, the book was opened to a blank page.
I couldn’t help but repaint this iconic painting. =)
This month’s photography theme at Froknowsphoto.com is “flowers” so the first thing that popped into my head was recreating Anna as Frida in the Vogue shot. With a little bit of makeup and some sunshine, I’m happy with how they turned out.
Ok, so they’re not actually together in a painting…yet. Hrm…ideas…
Sometimes when I’m thinking of ideas for a particular thing, such as Thanksgiving, this happens. I normally don’t paint these ideas, but this one wouldn’t stop drawing my attention.
Two curious kittens couldn’t help themselves, they had to get a peek into the Robin’s nest!
