A Little Impressionism Mixed With Folk Art

I needed a release from my normal paintings so I decided to repaint some of my favorite impressionism paintings, and turn the portraits into kitties. I absolutely enjoy the use of colors in all the originals.

-8″ x 10″ Wrapped Canvas
-Topped with two coats of gloss varnish.
-Signed, titled, and dated on the back by me!

Rosebud and Joaquin couldn’t be left out of his portrait!

“Madame Cezanne as a Cat”

-Painted with Golden acrylics.
-7.25″ x 10″ piece of wood
-Topped with two coats of gloss varnish.
-Signed, titled, and dated on the back by me!

I love repainting classic portraits as cats! This painting is based off the Cezanne painting, “Madame Cezanne Marie Hortense Fiquet in a Striped Skirt”

I’m repainting beautiful impressionism paintings, with cats! This painting is based off of Paule Gobillard’s, “Elegante aux Eventails Japonais.”
