Little Clay Houses

My daughter wanted to collaborate with me, making some sort of art, so we decided on the miniature clay houses.

Taking her Icelandic heritage, she decided she would like to make some Icelandic turf houses! She came up with the rounded design and hand sculpted each of the little round turf houses. =)

We also have some ornaments, and plan to make a lot of the styles available as ornaments as well. I think a Christmas tree with the stark white houses, with their chartreuse moss rooftops, will look lovely!
